The Williams Lake Blue Fins Present: 2011 Smoke on the Water

Open Water Distance Swim Races
Sunday, August 7, 2011, 9:00 am
Chimney Lake, B.C.

Distances: 750m, 1500m, 3000m

Starting from the public beach, this event will be safety monitored by canoes and kayaks. Wetsuits are permitted as this is a non-sanctioned event

Entry Fee: $30.00 Includes high visibility swim cap and breakfast.

Awards: bronze, silver and gold medals will be awarded in all 3 distances in the following age groups:

12 and under                         16 to 20                                  41 to 50
13 to 15                                  21 to 30                                  51 and over
16 to 20                                  31 to 40

Refreshments will be provided to all participants and volunteers.

Award presentations and draw prizes will be given after the last swimmer completes the course.
